Digital passports earn the holders discounts and entry into more than 80 events and promotions beginning in February and continuing through December 2021, including the Willcox Spring and Fall Wine Festivals, four regional interactive events, and dozens of individual vineyard experiences. Wine visitors to Willcox will use interactive web-based apps to "play" wine touring digital "games", including a Scratcher Game, Wineopoly, a Scavenger Hunt and a Poker Run, all of which use an innovative technology platform provided by Atlanta, Georgia based WebDecoder®.

Willcox Wine Country teamed up with WebDecoder in October of 2020 for an application trial that resulted in a successful two-day digital Poker Run that drove 300 participants to ten local wine tasting rooms. The 2021 Passport expands on this trial with more activities and expects to attract over 1,000 passport holders.

The City of Willcox will assist the Passport Promotion by using their Marketing and Tourism Commission to educate and recruit local hospitality businesses to participate and further enrich the visitor experience to Willcox Wine Country.
